EMIKO HorseCare Bokashi for horses combines the positive properties of EM technology with the metabolites created during the fermentation process. During the fermentation of high-quality grains and valuable herbs, EM ® produces various vitamins, trace elements, enzymes, amino acids, and antioxidants. These vital substances are contained in the product alongside the effective microorganisms, making EMIKO ® HorseCare Bokashi a true powerhouse for your horse and its sensitive digestive system.
Multibiotic vital substances
The fermentation process produces valuable, highly bioavailable metabolites and natural lactic acid, whose function is enhanced by the properties of sensibly supplemented ingredients.

What makes EMIKO HorseCare Bokashi special is the use of bran as a fermentation medium, which is initiated by a herbal ferment. Due to its surface structure, bran provides a particularly large living and development space for beneficial microorganisms, in which they produce a correspondingly large number of their beneficial metabolic products – such as enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids, and lactic acid, which is known to prevent putrefaction processes.
Spelt husks, Jerusalem artichokes, linseed and hemp seeds, black cumin, and ancient rock flour are known to be harmonizing, activating, cleansing, and stabilizing ingredients that can enhance the effectiveness of bokashi. The included ancient sea salt brine provides minerals and improves the already excellent absorption.
Due to nutrient deficiencies in the daily feed or an unphysiological sequence and size of meals, every horse suffers to a greater or lesser extent from digestive disorders and their consequences. Therefore, the need for high-quality nutrients and cell-protecting antioxidants increases, especially during athletic performance, during periods of muscle building, or during and after illness.
In the digestive tract, the effective microorganisms ensure a balanced intestinal flora, and the nutrients they contain can help compensate for deficiencies. With a stable intestinal flora, the receptors in the intestinal wall are occupied by the beneficial microorganisms, thus depriving pathogenic germs of their livelihood and the opportunity to penetrate the organism.
For greater performance, well-being and intact defense mechanisms, it is important to know the natural needs of your horse and to influence them in a targeted manner.
