No straight tower stands on a crooked foundation
Our digestive system is the basis of our entire metabolism. Consequently, our health depends on this foundation. If one then considers that our intestinal bacteria do the majority of the digestive work, it quickly becomes clear what a decisive influence the care of the intestinal flora has on our health.
How do fermented beverages work?
A large number of lactic acid bacteria belong to a healthy intestinal flora. The bacteria in the intestine are our "little helpers" without which we could not digest our food at all and could not survive! (See also "Human Biotope - love your intestinal bacteria" by G.-W. Schneider, available in our online shop). Microorganisms, as mediators between inorganic and organic, were the origin of all life on this earth and are still decisive today. They are around us, on us, in us - they are essential for us. It is crucial for our health that we keep our bacterial environment in a regenerative balance and live in a life-promoting symbiosis with the right bacteria.
Those who live in harmony with nature, always eat optimally fresh food, exercise sufficiently and are balanced, usually do not need any aids for this. However, our "modern" lifestyle usually looks different. Our vital microflora is affected by many influences and could use a little support.
Fermented beverages contain lactic acid bacteria which, due to the low pH value and lack of nutrients, are in a dormant state. When they enter the body, they begin to multiply again. These bacteria have been known from food production since ancient times (sauerkraut, yogurt, etc.). They work together with other useful microorganisms in the intestine and assert themselves against undesirable, harmful microorganisms. The lactic acid cultures and the extract from the fermented herbs together regenerate the intestinal lining, which in turn forms the basis for our intact immune system. Thus, herbal fermented beverages regulate the stomach and intestines and support the development of an intact immune system.
Free Radicals
One of the special properties of fermented beverages is to produce antioxidants. Antioxidants eliminate "free radicals" (rust-forming agents - aggressive oxygen compounds in the cells) which can cause major problems in the body. Thus, antioxidants help keep the immune system intact.
True fermented beverages are
- dairy-free and therefore very well suited for vegans and people with milk intolerance.
-
sugar-free and therefore also suitable for diabetics. During the fermentation process,
the lactic acid bacteria multiply by breaking down the sugars and converting them into lactic and acetic acid.
Only when the sugars are completely broken down is the fermentation process complete. - contain no alcohol.
- the contained herbs are no longer in their original form after fermentation and thus become homeopathy-compatible and mostly easily digestible.
