The power of intestinal cleansing

No straight tower stands on a crooked foundation

Our digestive system is the foundation of our entire metabolism. Consequently, our health depends on this foundation. When you consider that our intestinal bacteria perform the bulk of the digestive work, it quickly becomes clear what a crucial influence maintaining our intestinal flora has on our health.

How do fermented drinks work?

Large numbers of lactic acid bacteria are part of a healthy intestinal flora. The bacteria in the intestines are our "little helpers" without which we couldn't digest our food and couldn't survive! (See also"Human Biotope – Love Your Intestinal Bacteria" by G.-W. Schneider, available in our online shop). Microorganisms, as mediators between inorganic and organic matter, were the origin of all life on this earth and continue to play a decisive role today. They are around us, on us, and within us – they are vital to our survival. Crucial to our health is maintaining a regenerative balance in our bacterial environment and living in a life-promoting symbiosis with the right bacteria.

Those who live in harmony with nature, always eat a healthy, fresh diet, get enough exercise, and are balanced usually don't need any aids. However, our "modern" lifestyle is usually different. Our vital microflora is affected by many different influences and can certainly use a little support.

Fermented drinks contain lactic acid bacteria, which are dormant due to the low pH and lack of nutrients. When these bacteria enter the body, they begin to multiply again. These bacteria have been known for a long time from food production (sauerkraut, yogurt, etc.). They work together with other beneficial microorganisms in the intestines and fight off unwanted, harmful microorganisms. The lactic acid cultures and the extract from the fermented herbs work together to regenerate the intestinal mucosa, which in turn forms the basis for our intact immune system. Thus , herbal fermented drinks have a regulating effect on the stomach and intestines and support the development of an intact immune system.

Free radicals

One of the special properties of fermented beverages is their ability to produce antioxidants. Antioxidants eliminate "free radicals" (rust-forming agents – aggressive oxygen compounds in cells) that can cause major problems in the body. Thus, antioxidants help keep the immune system intact.

Real fermented drinks are

    • Dairy-free and therefore also suitable for vegans and people with milk intolerance.
    • sugar-free and therefore also suitable for diabetics. During the fermentation process
The lactic acid bacteria multiply by breaking down the sugars and converting them into lactic and acetic acid.
The fermentation process is only complete when the sugars have been completely broken down.
    • do not contain alcohol .
    • After fermentation, the herbs contained are no longer present in their original form and are therefore compatible with homeopathy and are usually easily tolerated.
