How do you recognize good Matcha?

Genuine premium Matcha is recognizable at first glance: the brighter and more vibrant the green of the powder, the better the quality. A bright, intensive green means that the tea leaves were harvested early, carefully shaded, and gently processed. Early harvests ensure a mild, refined aroma without bitter notes.

The darker and duller a Matcha appears, the later it was harvested – the powder then usually tastes bitter and is of significantly lower quality.

Our organic Matcha powder comes from the finest second harvest and impresses with an especially bright, vibrant green color – a sure sign of true premium quality.

More than just tea – Matcha is your superfood

Matcha is not just tea. Matcha is a lifestyle. It naturally combines caffeine and the amino acid L-theanine. Whether in the morning, at your home office, or before a workout: Matcha fits into every day.

Matcha or coffee – which is the better choice?

Many people automatically reach for coffee in the morning, while others love Matcha as an alternative.

L-theanine is an amino acid that occurs naturally in Matcha.

1 g of Matcha contains approx. 26.1 mg of caffeine.

2 g corresponds to approx. 52.2 mg, about as much as a small cup of espresso.

Enjoying Matcha is this easy

First, heat a plant-based milk of your choice, for example oat milk or almond milk, to a medium temperature. In a separate bowl, add about 1 to 2 grams of organic Matcha powder and pour a little hot water (approx. 80 °C) over it. Whisk the Matcha carefully into a fine, lump-free liquid.

Next, pour the dissolved Matcha into the warm barista milk and stir everything together. For a particularly creamy consistency, you can additionally froth the milk with a milk frother.

If you like, you can add a small pinch of cinnamon, some vanilla powder, or a splash of fresh lemon to the milk before heating it to customize your Matcha Latte. Agave syrup, honey, or other natural sweeteners are suitable for sweetening – entirely according to your taste.

Your creamy, pleasantly sweet Matcha Latte is ready – perfect for a delicious start to the day.
