The power of spring

Birch sap is tapped from the birch trunk in spring and then fermented. During the fermentation process, selected microorganisms multiply and convert the sugarcane molasses and cane sugar into organic acids. Fresh birch sap normally only lasts 2-3 days, but fermentation naturally achieves a low pH value of approximately 3.5, which gives the product a long shelf life and its unique flavor. Furthermore, all of the valuable birch sap's important nutrients are fully preserved.

All bacterial cultures used are guaranteed to be GMO-free.
Elyx Birch is a living product, full of vitality. The viable microorganisms (CFU) multiply during production, contributing to the product's high quality. At the time of bottling, the CFU count is approximately 150 million per ml. During storage, the CFU count slowly decreases, but at the end of the best-before date, it still amounts to approximately 80 million per ml! Due to this dynamic nature, batches may vary slightly in taste, turbidity, and color. However, this is not an indication of quality.

Careful production process

Elyx is a fermented food. The careful production process is long enough to optimally release the natural active ingredients and complete the fermentation process. This natural maturation process creates the low pH value necessary for shelf life without the need for the addition of acetic acid or similar additives. This gives the finished Elyx a milder flavor than comparable products.

Recommended use / application

The recommended intake is 15-50 ml spread throughout the day (depending on individual circumstances). Turn the bottle upside down before use to evenly distribute the valuable sediment. Elyx can be consumed at any time, preferably with meals. Depending on your preference, it can be consumed neat or diluted with spring water or organic juice.

Refrigerate after opening.

Note: Due to fermentation, a natural alcohol content of up to 1% vol. is possible.
