Barf-Ferment grain-free from NaturaFerm is a fermented supplementary feed for dogs in organic quality.

This preservative-free, multibiotic supplement is the ideal complement to a raw food diet. In nature, the first thing a prey animal eats is its entrails, including the important bacteria that support proper digestion. Unfortunately, these bacteria are often missing in raw food diets, which can lead to digestive problems. BarfFerment ensures the right bacterial colonization in your dog's gut. All ingredients are fermented. Suitable for all breeds.

  • ECO certified according to DE-Öko-037 control body
  • with many good ingredients from organic farming
  • free from synthetically produced ingredients and additives
  • with activated microorganisms for a balanced intestinal flora
  • with many vitamins and minerals for the immune system

What is Bokashi?

Bokashi is fermented organic matter. The principle of fermentation is used to process selected ingredients (e.g., white cabbage into sauerkraut). The conversion of organic matter during fermentation takes place under the exclusion of air (anaerobic). It is brought about by a variety of fermentative microbes. Fermentation is complete when the pH value drops below 4. Depending on the ingredients, the final product is used for animal feed or as compost, and is offered in small quantities to animals or plants as a supplementary feed.

What happens to the ingredients during fermentation?

Similar to sauerkraut production, the prepared ingredients are fermented with effective microorganisms. Fermentation does not occur in its own juice; instead, the resulting juice is drained. EM fermentation results in "selected ensiling." This means that, unlike conventional ensiling, Bokashi is largely controlled by selected effective microorganisms. This ensures consistent quality.

  • Fermentation increases the bioavailability of the existing organic matter, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, and produces additional metabolic products such as antioxidants and enzymes. The selected microorganisms are part of the intestinal flora. These serve to maintain the dog's health. This creates a more positive environment in the intestinal flora and improves the interaction between the strains. This helps prevent disease and has an impact on the animal's entire organism and its psyche.
  • A healthy gastrointestinal flora improves food digestion and stimulates appetite. If the gastrointestinal system functions better, dog owners will see short- and medium-term benefits.
  • the skin and coat become much better.
  • the gastrointestinal tract absorbs the vitamins and active ingredients better.
  • The dog’s performance increases measurably and visibly.
  • the dog’s immune system is strengthened.
