High-quality natural brushes from P. Jentschura as an accessory for alkaline body care.

Manufacturing and quality

P. Jentschura brushes are manufactured in a German company that has been producing high-quality brushes for over 165 years.

The brush body is made of solid beechwood or plywood beech, which is coated with a fine layer of wax in a dipping process to protect it from water. If brushes are used in water, the wood will discolor over time, and small cracks may form. However, these natural processes of "working" wood do not affect the quality of the brushes.

These are made with natural bristles. The best bristle quality is the traditional Chungking brand, which is used exclusively in P. Jentschura brushes. The hard first cut of the approximately 120 mm long, natural black bristles, such as those used in hairbrushes, is also called "wild boar bristles."

The light bristles used in both the cosmetic brush and the professional massage, facial, and bath brush are bleached for a more attractive appearance.

The lymphatic system is our “sewage treatment plant”

Jentschura's brush massages utilize the skin's excretory function and take into account the direction of lymph flow.

Our lymphatic system functions like a sewage treatment plant in our body. Everything the cells no longer need and excrete enters the lymph and is then disposed of through our excretory organs (kidneys, liver, skin).

The lymph also functions strictly on behalf of the immune system. It transports the white blood cells that intercept invaders and pathogens throughout the body. These are then destroyed in the lymph nodes and excreted.

Recommended use / application

Important care instructions:

The brush bodies are made of solid waxed beechwood or beech plywood. The bristles are made of high-quality, pure, first-cut wild boar bristles, horsemane hair for the facial brush, and bronze and horsehair bristles for the energy brush. We offer you first-class natural products.

Plywood brushes are better suited for wet brushing in alkaline baths, as the wooden bodies don't "work" as hard in the water or discolor as solid beechwood brushes. However, please keep in mind that with a natural product like wood, discoloration can always occur due to contact with water.

When wet brushing, please note the following:
Wooden brushes should not be left floating in the water for the entire duration of the bath. During a brushing break, place the brush on the edge of the bathtub with the bristles facing down.
After alkaline wet brushing, the brushes should be rinsed with clean water, tapped out and placed on a dry cloth with the bristles facing down.
Wooden brushes should not be placed on a radiator or dried with a hairdryer. This can cause cracks in the wooden body, potentially leading to premature shedding of individual bristle tufts.
If necessary, the bristles are rinsed with lukewarm soapy water, preferably without moistening the wooden body too much.
